HOW THE DISCOVERY OF THE TEST WAS MADE

For a decade, as transplant physicians harvested organs, Dr Shamsuddin collected healthy intestinal tissue for research.

He compared this truly healthy tissue from organ donors, with similar looking and supposedly "healthy" tissue found away from tumors obtained from colon cancer patients.

Dr. Shamsuddin discusses the cancer screening tests

PRECANCEROUS TISSUE & TUMORS BOTH PRODUCE AN ALTERED SUGAR

The mucus from cancer is distinctly different from that of the truly healthy tissue from organ donors. While the non-cancerous tissue away from a cancer looks "normal" by naked eye, the mucus from non-cancerous apparently normal looking areas away from cancer was the same as that of a cancer and precancerous tissues! Following further extensive research using various laboratory models, Dr Shamsuddin identified that a sugar molecule in the mucus is altered early during cancer formation, which persists in precancerous and cancerous tissues, forming the basis of the EARLYTM Test. The research was featured on the cover of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

The Professor felt that the altered sugar molecule could be used as a marker. His research was featured on the cover of the JNCI.

HE INVENTED A TEST TO IDENTIFY THIS SUGAR

The test was indeed able to distinguish healthy tissue that did not produce the altered sugar, from tumors and precancerous tissue at a high risk of developing into a tumor.

Early detection screening was now a reality!

MANY INDEPENDENT CLINICAL TRIALS HAVE CONFIRMED THE ACCURACY OF THE TEST

Clinical trials take a lot of time and a lot of money. Each trial requires time for planning, grant proposals, various approvals, recruiting of patients, review of data, publishing of papers etc.

Thank you to researchers from several countries who helped to validate the high accuracy of these screening tests.

THIS PAPER IS A REVIEW OF THE SCIENCE & TRIALS

FINALLY, IN 2022 THE TESTS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO SAVE LIVES!

We would also like to thank the thousands of patients that took part in the numerous clinical trials- you helped make these tests a reality!
