  • Dr. Kim Vanderlinden

    Founder and CEO

    Inspired at the age of 12 by his mother’s overcoming a terminal Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer diagnosis and understanding his good life was attributable to her surviving, Kim Vanderlinden became a physician. As an executive, he served as president of nutrition companies including Hope Science and Enzymatic Therapy (ET) Canada. He is an active researcher and author.

  • Ivana Vucenik, PhD

    Chief Scientific Officer

    Dr. Vucenik is a Professor of Medical and Research Technology and Pathology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She received her PhD in Immunology and Hematology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. As a recognized nutrition researcher and educator, she has made numerous presentations at national and international meetings. Her research has been supported by grants from the Susan Women Breast Cancer Foundation, the American Institute for Cancer Research, the University of Maryland Designated Research Initiative Fund, and the University of Maryland Women’s Health Research Foundation.

  • John Roussin, CPA

    Chief Financial Officer

    John Roussin has practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for nearly 40 years. Through his San Diego, California-based practice, he has served clients including researchers and executives of healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, in Southern California.

    John also has served on the boards of a number of health-related charities and non-profit organizations.

  • James S. Sergi

    Jim Sergi is the Founder and the President of CSSi LifeSciences, a global drug discovery and technology development company providing fully integrated, specialized regulatory and clinical services for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Prior to this role, Jim was the founder and managing partner of Bay Tower Capital, a life sciences merchant bank and the co-founder and CEO of ProED Communications, a healthcare services and drug development company. Jim has been responsible for over 85 successful NDA/BLA approvals and over 250 medical device approvals. His academic and medical experience includes Director of Experimental Therapeutics at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center, Associate Professor of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Case Western Reserve University. Lecturer for Oncology at Cleveland State University and Adjunct Faculty and Lecturer for biotechnology at Georgetown University and John Hopkins University Graduate Schools. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications and has numerous issued patents. Jim serves a scientific reviewer for the NIH SBIR/STTR Commercial Readiness Program, as well as a mentor to the NIH/NHLBI and the NIH Larta FeedForward programs. Learn more about Jim here.

    Craig Tockman, DVM joined Companion Animal Health as President in 2020. Previously, Craig was the Global Head of Diagnostic Products Management and Innovation for Zoetis, the world’s largest animal health company. He led the development of the worldwide diagnostic strategy for the company as well as implementing a cross-functional product management team to the company. Prior to Zoetis, Craig was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Abaxis Animal Health where he led the animal health business for the western hemisphere and the human product business for Central and South America. He was also responsible for customer and technical service, business development, national and strategic accounts, professional services, and diagnostic specialist teams.

    OB/GYN Physician, Mountain Park Health Center (California)

    Dr. Elijah Carter is both a Veterinarian and board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. After graduation he was inducted into the National Honor Medical Society. He maintained a private practice from 1984 -2001. Group OB/GYN Medical Practice Associations followed until 2016. Since then, he has pursued his growing interest in Preventative and Restorative Medicine.

    Dr. Carter is a passionate lecturer on Cellular Anatomy and Physiology, Cellular Nutrition, Bio-identical Hormones, and Positive Thinking.

    He is the inventor of The Carter Tubal Assistant for PostpartumTubal ligation.
